Abstract
This paper examines Indian English literature as a medium of cultural resonance and national aspiration in the context of Developed India@2047. By tracing its evolution from colonial beginnings to contemporary innovation, the study explores how literature reflects societal realities, preserves cultural heritage, and envisions India as a developed nation. Through detailed case studies of authors such as Arundhati Roy, Amitav Ghosh, Vikram Seth, and Kavita Kane, the research highlights the role of literary texts in shaping ethical, social, and cultural dimensions of nation-building. The analysis underscores literature's dual function as mirror and compass for India’s path toward economic progress, social equity, and cultural continuity.
